About the Project
Hare Krishna
It deeply moves the heart to witness the deteriorating condition of a historic *Radha Rani Temple and Vishram Sthal* in Mathura, where the roof and floor are crumbling, and the rest area is in a state of disrepair. This ancient temple, located on the sacred Govardhan Giriraj Ji Parikrama Marg in Mathura, is now in urgent need of restoration.
According to the Puranas, performing the parikrama (circumambulation) and worship at Govardhan Giriraj Ji in Mathura leads to liberation (moksha). Devotees from far and wide come to complete the seven-kos (approximately 21 kilometers) parikrama, and they often rest at the site of this temple.
The Shiv Dhaam Foundation has taken on the noble task of restoring this temple, and we humbly request your invaluable support in this divine effort. The restoration work is about to commence, and your contribution can make a significant difference. Once the Vishram Sthal is renovated, the devotees who come for the Govardhan Parikrama will have a place to rest and prepare prasad.
We urge all devotees of Radhe Rani to extend their support during this Krishna Janmashtami, so that this temple and rest area can be beautifully restored and ready to serve the devotees.
