About the Project
Help Restore the Abode of Faith and Hope
The Plight of Shitala Mata Temple:
Nestled on the serene Shitala Ghat, adjacent to the bustling Dashwamedha Ghat, the Shitala Mata Temple stands as a beacon of hope and faith in Varanasi. Dedicated to Goddess Shitala, this sacred sanctuary also houses the revered shrine of Goddess Santhosi. Daily, thousands of souls seek solace and blessings within these hallowed walls.
Yet, today, this bastion of spirituality faces a dire challenge. For two long years, the temple's rooftop has lain in disrepair, allowing the relentless rain to seep through, threatening the sanctity of worship and the comfort of the pilgrims. The upcoming monsoon looms large, promising not just water but a deluge of distress for the faithful.
Our Mission:
We stand at a crossroads where action can change the course of this crisis. The Shivdhaam Foundation, committed to serving the spiritual community, has taken the mantle to spearhead the **Shitala Mata Temple Reconstruction Campaign** to rebuild the damaged rooftop, ensuring a dry and safe space for worship.
Your Role:
Every contribution, big or small, can make a difference. Your donation will not only restore the temple's structure but also rekindle the light of hope in the hearts of many. Together, we can ensure that the Shitala Mata Temple continues to be a place where wishes are fulfilled, and faith is reaffirmed.
How to Contribute:
Join us in this noble endeavor. Your support can be the cornerstone of this temple's revival. Donate today and become a part of a legacy of compassion and preservation of our sacred heritage.

Rebuild the Sacred Temple of Mata – Protect Our Sanatan Heritage
Jai Kara Sherawali Ji Ka, Bol Sache Darbar Ki Jai! This is not just stone and mortar. This is Mata’s Darbar, the guardian of our village, and the sacred seat of Vaishno Devi’s sister. For decades, devotees have climbed the narrow paths to seek blessings here, believing Mata watches over them, protects their homes, and blesses their children. But today… Her home is in danger.
This campaign has reached its goal and is no longer accepting donations.
