About the Project
A sacred temple by the Ganga, still waiting for its roof…
For over a thousand years, Maa Kali has been worshipped in this ancient temple standing peacefully on the banks of the holy Ganga. It has been the heart of faith for countless villagers from the surrounding regions.
Today, that divine temple stands incomplete.
There is no roof over the sanctum, broken walls, no Shikhara, and no protection against floods.
The Hawan Kund lies unused, and the villagers—who once gathered here for bhajans and kirtans—can no longer come together under the open sky in this burning heat.
With love and devotion, the local villagers gave everything they had to begin reconstruction.
But now, their resources have run dry. The temple work has stopped. And the spirit of collective worship is fading.
Will you let Maa Kali wait any longer?
Why Your Help is Needed Now
• The sanctum has no roof — exposing the idol to sun and rain
• The walls and foundation remain unfinished
• The Shikhara, the crown of the temple, has not yet been built
• The Hawan Kund is unused due to lack of shelter
• Bhajan and Kirtan gatherings have stopped because of harsh weather
This isn’t just about bricks and cement. This is about restoring faith, reviving tradition, and preserving a 1000-year-old legacy.
Let’s Complete Maa Kali’s Mandir — Together
Shiv Dhaam Foundation humbly invites all devotees and well-wishers to come forward and support the remaining construction work:
• Roof for the main sanctum
• Completion of temple walls
• Building the majestic Shikhara
• Protection from flood damage
• Renovation of the Hawan Kund area
Your donation, however small, is an offering of devotion.
Every Rupee Counts. Every Bhakt Matters.
Let us not let time or poverty erase a temple that has stood for 1000 years.
Let Maa Kali’s devotees across the world come together to complete her home.
Join us. Support now. Build with Bhakti.
Jai Maa Kali
