About the Project
Location
Papmukteshwar Mukti Dham is situated in Gaya, renowned for its significance in performing the rites of ancestor worship.
Divine Significance
In the temple's sanctum, a sacred idol of Ram Darbar is established. However, the sanctum's pinnacle and walls are in a very deplorable state. Long ago, a radiant, celibate Brahmin named Mukti lived in Gaya, who performed severe penance in this temple to be freed from his sins. The divine history and ancient aura of this temple can be felt even today.
Urgent Restoration Needed
Due to its immense antiquity, the temple's structure has become extremely dilapidated. Without restoration, this revered temple will turn into ruins. Despite the temple's poor condition, local people still come with great devotion to worship here. According to ancient tales, merely visiting this temple absolves one of their sins.
Our Need
The temple complex is vast and requires substantial funding for its renovation. The restoration of this ancient temple is vital to preserve its sanctity and serve the devotees.
