The sacred city of Varanasi is in crisis. Severe flooding has devastated the lives of two of the city’s most vulnerable and essential communities—sadhus and *flower vendors. These individuals, who form the spiritual and cultural heart of Varanasi, are now facing hunger and uncertainty. Immediate help is needed to ensure they survive this disaster.

Shiv Dhaam Foundation is launching an urgent relief effort to provide food and essential supplies to these affected communities, but we cannot do it alone. We need your support right now.

Sadhus in Crisis: Spiritual Guardians Left Hungry
Sadhus, the holy men of Varanasi, have long been custodians of India’s spiritual traditions. They live a life of devotion and rely on the offerings from pilgrims for their daily sustenance. But with the ghats flooded and pilgrims unable to visit, the sadhus are left without food or shelter. *Hundreds of sadhus* are now going hungry, with no means of support.

These revered figures, who have dedicated their lives to spirituality, urgently need our help to survive this crisis.

Flower Vendors: Their Livelihoods Swept Away
The small flower vendors, many of whom are women, have always been an integral part of Varanasi’s vibrant religious atmosphere. They sell garlands and offerings to pilgrims, earning just enough to feed their families each day. But the floods have swept away their livelihoods, leaving them without income or food.

These families, already living in poverty, now face starvation. Without urgent support, they will continue to suffer as the floodwaters recede.

Act Now: How Shiv Dhaam Foundation is Responding
In this time of emergency, *Shiv Dhaam Foundation* is stepping up to provide relief to the most vulnerable. We are distributing *2,000 ration kits* to sadhus and flower vendors, ensuring they have access to basic food supplies. Each kit contains essential items such as rice, wheat, pulses, and oil, providing enough to sustain them for several weeks.

But we need your help to reach more people in need.

How You Can Make an Immediate Impact
Every minute counts. Your donation will have an immediate impact on the lives of those who are facing hunger and hopelessness. Here’s how you can help:

- ₹500 will provide a ration kit to a flower vendor’s family, giving them food for several weeks.
- ₹1,000 will support two sadhus with essential supplies for an entire month.
- ₹5,000 will provide food relief to five families or sadhus, helping them survive this crisis.

This is a Time for Compassion: Act Now
The situation is dire. The sadhus and flower vendors who have long served Varanasi’s spiritual and religious communities are now in urgent need of support. Without help, many will continue to face hunger and despair.

At Shiv Dhaam Foundation, we believe in acting swiftly to help those in crisis. But we cannot do this without your help. This is a moment to stand together and offer compassion and relief to those who have given so much to Varanasi’s spiritual heritage.

Please donate now and help us bring food and hope to the sadhus and flower vendors in their time of need.

Your donation will make a life-saving difference. Don’t wait—these communities need urgent help today.
