Nourish the Devotees of Lord Hanuman: Support Monkey Seva in Chitrakoot

In the divine land of Chitrakoot, where the footsteps of Lord Ram and Hanuman echo in every corner, hundreds of monkeys roam freely seen not just as animals, but as sacred symbols of Bajrang Bali’s eternal presence.

A Daily Act of Compassion at the Sacred Ghats

In the divine land of Chitrakoot, where the footsteps of Lord Ram and Hanuman echo in every corner, hundreds of monkeys roam freely seen not just as animals, but as sacred symbols of Bajrang Bali’s eternal presence.

At the Ramghat, Hanuman Dhara, and Gupt Godavari, these monkeys are a part of daily spiritual life. Pilgrims feed them, locals revere them however as tourism ebbs and support fades, many of these divine creatures suffer in silence.

The Problem: Hunger and Neglect

Due to lack of consistent food sources and rising human encroachment, monkeys in Chitrakoot often go hungry or get injured in road accidents, territorial fights, or human-monkey conflicts. Many suffer from wounds, infections, or simply starvation.

Shiv Dhaam’s Monkey Seva Initiative

With your support, Shiv Dhaam Foundation has initiated a daily Monkey Seva campaign at key spiritual locations in Chitrakoot:

1. Feeding over 300 monkeys daily at Ramghat, Hanuman Dhara, and Gupt Godavari
2. Distributing seasonal fruits, soaked grams, jaggery, and biscuits
3. Providing treatment to injured or sick monkeys with the help of local vets
4. Building feeding zones to reduce conflict and ensure safe spaces

Why Your Help Matters

Monkeys are not just animals they are living symbols of devotion. Helping them is helping uphold the spirit of Sanatan Dharma and honoring Lord Hanuman himself.

Your donation will help us:

1. Sustain daily feeding efforts
2. Set up emergency care for injured monkeys
3. Support volunteers engaged in this sacred seva
