Serving Our Primate Friends: A Spiritual Journey

Introduction

Welcome to the Monkey Seva Feeding Campaign, where compassion meets spirituality. Join us in this noble endeavor to feed and care for our monkey companions in three sacred locations: Ayodhya, Vrindavan, and Hampi. By participating, you not only provide nourishment to these playful creatures but also accumulate positive karma (merits) for yourself.

Why Monkeys?

Monkeys hold a special place in Hindu mythology and culture. They are often associated with Lord Hanuman, the devoted monkey deity. Here's why serving monkeys is significant:

1. Hanuman's Connection: Lord Hanuman, an ardent devotee of Lord Rama, played a pivotal role in the Ramayana. His unwavering loyalty and strength inspire us to serve all beings, including monkeys.

2. Karmic Benefits: Feeding monkeys is considered an act of kindness. According to Hindu beliefs, every compassionate action generates positive karma. By feeding monkeys, you create a ripple effect of goodwill in your life.

The Three Sacred Regions

1. Ayodhya

- Ram Mandir: Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama, is steeped in spiritual significance. Monkeys roam freely around the Ram Mandir, reminding us of Hanuman's devotion. Your contribution here directly supports these monkey seva efforts.

    Did you know? An iconic photo from the historic Ram Mandir movement features monkeys alongside devotees during the temple construction.

2. Vrindavan

- Govardhan Parikrama: Vrindavan, associated with Lord Krishna's divine play, hosts the Govardhan Parikrama. Devotees circumambulate the sacred Govardhan Hill, encountering monkeys along the way. By feeding them, you honor Krishna's love for all creatures.

    Govardhan Parikrama Distance: The total distance is 21 km, taking 5 to 6 hours to complete. You can choose between the Badi Parikrama (12 km) and Chhoti Parikrama (9 km).

3. Hampi

- Birthplace of Hanuman: Hampi, believed to be Hanuman's birthplace, resonates with his energy. Monkeys thrive here, and their presence connects us to Hanuman's devotion and courage. By providing food, you participate in this sacred legacy.

    Recent Event: A monkey entered the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, emphasizing their spiritual connection.

During a campaign, commodity costs sometimes fluctuate. We utilize these suggestions to offset these price increases and continue to provide service to our beneficiaries. Donors are free to provide any amount as a tip to our platform; tips are voluntary contributions.

The amount you have selected to donate to any campaign on Shivdhaam is non-refundable once you have made a donation. In the event that the payment is deducted more than once, you will be refunded for the amount that was initially debited. Please contact team@shivdhaam.org.in with any additional questions.

Anytime you'd like, you can stop contributing to any of the monthly giving options. To unsubscribe, all you have to do is send a message to our customer service team over WhatsApp or email. You will be unsubscribed in three to four days after submitting.

We promote the well-being of Sadhus in Bharat by giving them anna dana and providing them with necessities like blankets, mosquito nets, mats, and tripals, all while preserving their traditional traditions. We also build temples for historic temples and do cow and monkey seva.

Upon successfully completing your donation, the payment success page will display the button. Please provide your name as per PAN, complete address, and PAN number, then click the submit button. Within a day, an email containing your 80G certificate will be generated and sent. As an alternative, here's how to obtain your 80G receipt in a few easy steps: Using the same email address that you used to make the donation, sign into your account. 1. Select "My Donations." 2. Select the fiscal year that you would want the certificate of donation for. 3. To download the 80G certificate, click it. 4. Complete the form, if necessary. 5. After submitting the form, 80G will be downloaded immediately.
